POP-ART-DECO

I thought I would do something fun and show off what I've got going on right now. My current obsession is pop art meets art deco. I'm dubbing my style POP-ART-DECO. I'm especially loving all kinds of paisley. I created this background for my PC. Here's a screenshot:

And this here is a little sneak peak at a new digital series I have in mind. I'm taking nostalgic black and white pin-up portaits, editing them into a pop-art style, and merging them with art deco while keeping the same vibrant colours. The one below has a few rough spots that still need work but I'm digging the look so far. Once they are perfect, I would love to blow these up into posters.

Speaking of POP-ART-DECO here is an example of another series that I originally wanted to paint, but decided it is something that would be better screen printed. It is a commentary on the relationship between art and commercialism.  I envision this on canvas to be some fab home decor. Since I don't have the means to screen print at the moment, I've done one digitally and added some effects simply because I can.

Notice my images now have logos on them. I'm trying to decide between the two.. Comments are welcome.
